Through local programs and events, the UNA Brooklyn Chapter raises awareness about how the UN is keeping the peace and protecting civilians in the most dangerous conflicts, promoting economic development toward the eradication of poverty, improving global health, fostering gender equality, and building a more sustainable environment.
